Pay-By-Phone

PayByPhone is designed to allow payment for parking through the use of a mobile app, website, or phone number. On each parking meter head and inside the Racehorse Alley Parking Garage, there will be appropriate signage via stickers/ signs that will show how the parking app can be used.

Getting Started: Once you create an account, PayByPhone will be structured with three easy-to-use-options:

Pay through the App

Click on the link, https://m2.paybyphone.com/parking to start a session through your browser.

Use the phone number provided on the stickers: 888-680-7275 and follow the prompts to start a session.

Mobile App:

  1. Download the App from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store.
  2. Create a User Account.
  3. Enter the Zone Number (Located on each Meter in town) and the vehicle's License Plate number.
  4. Choose your length of stay.
  5. Confirm the details entered and begin your session.

PLEASE NOTE: All meters in Gettysburg will continue to flash "EXPIRED" when using Pay-By-Phone. When setting up a session, a warning message will appear.

  3. Enter the Zone Number (Located on each Meter in town) and the vehicle's License Plate number.
  4. Choose your length of stay.

  2. Follow the voice prompts. (If you are a new user, the voice prompt will ask you to create one)
  3. Enter a security PIN number or the Location/ Zone number.
  4. Enter the parking duration of your stay.
  5. Confirm the details entered and begin your session.

Gettysburg Pay-by-Phone Zones:

Zone 17860: County Lot spaces are in operation 24 hours/ 7 days per week, with a 12-hour max time limit and have 15-minute increments at $1.00 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 18610: Short-term meters except the entire Lincoln Square and 1st blocks of York, Carlisle, Chambersburg and Baltimore streets are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM) with a 3-hour max time limit and have 15-minute increments at $1.00 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 18620: Long-term meters are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM) , with a 12-hour time limit and have 15-minute increments at $1.50 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 18630: Space numbers 1 - 356 inside the Racehorse Alley Parking Garage. RHA Garage is in operation 24 hours, 7 days a week and have 15-minute increments of time at $1.00 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 18060: The 15 meters in front of the Racehorse Alley Parking Garage are in operation 24 hours, 7 days a week with a 12-hour max time limit and have 15-minute increments of time at $1.00 / hour. Located at East Racehorse Alley.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 18070: Exclusively for the two electric vehicle charging stations located inside the Racehorse Alley Parking Garage. As with the Parking Garage, the charging stations are in operation and available 24 hours, 7 days a week and have 15-minute increments of time at $2.00/ hour.

Zone 19130: The Borough Parking Lot is located off the 1st block of E. Middle Street with 24 individual parking spaces. The parking meters are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM) with a 3-hour max time limit and have 15-minute increments of time at $1.00 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 19500: Entire Lincoln Square, 32 individual parking spaces including 4 Handicapped meters. The parking meters are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM) with a 3-hour max time and have a 15-minute increments of time at $2.00 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 20130: First blocks of York, Carlisle, Chambersburg and Baltimore Streets and all of Steinwehr Avenue are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM), with a 3-hour max time limit and have 15-minute increments at $1.50 / hour.

  • Minimum purchase amount - 1 hour

Zone 60900: The third blocks of W. Lincoln Avenue and W. Broadway are in operation Monday - Saturday (8AM - 8PM) and Sundays (1PM - 8PM), with a 12-hour max time limit and have a 15-minute increments at $1.00 / hours.
